Hello and welcome! So glad you’re here! Today I am going to answer a question from a reader who asked, “What are 4 important War Binder Sections?” That’s a great question, thanks for asking.

4 Important War Binder Sections
In the above image, you’ll see one of the war binders I’ve created. This was a complete DIY to include the little pockets in the front. A war binder doesn’t have to be expensive, nor does it have to be store-bought. You can create one out of a 5 subject notebook if you wanted. Now let’s get to the question.
What are the 4 Important War Binder Sections? This is a great but tricky question. Tricky, because a war binder is individual to each of our walks with God. But I believe we all start with the same basic goal, growing in our faith and the desire to document it. I also want to make sure you know that as you grow in your faith, your war binder sections will most likely change as you grow.
So 4 important war binder sections for me at the start of my faith journey were:
Prayers
Gratitude
Scripture
Bible Study/Devotional Note
Why these 4 sections? I’ll explain each one. I learned as I watched War Room that it’s important to write down your prayers. Why? Simply so you don’t forget, what you prayed for and how God answered them. Also, if you think of your prayers as talks with God, wouldn’t you want to document those little talks?
Next was a Gratitude section, I struggled with being grateful for the little things, not that I wasn’t I just didn’t express my gratitude as much for them. I feel that being grateful for the little things is more important than for the big things. Why?
Think of it this way, there are so many little things each day that we take for granted. The birds singing, the blue sky, rain when we need it most, and wind on a hot summer day. Big little things . . . right? Those little things and more are given to us daily . . . daily we have many little things that we can be grateful for. So many of us look for jaw-dropping moments to be grateful and those happen but who can say that they do on a daily basis? So that’s why I found a gratitude section important.
In our walks with God, we get to know Him through His Word – scripture. So I feel that it was important for me to have a scripture section. A place for me to document scriptures that spoke out to me, scriptures that I wanted to break down and get to know it better, and scriptures that God pointed out and told me to learn it.
Last but not least is my Bible study/devotional section. In this section, I wrote down important notes from bible studies/devotionals I do. Basically I’d write down the study it came from and then my notes. It’s like a “things to remember section” for me. I hope this helped answer, the question “what are the 4 important war binder sections?”
What are 4 Important War Binder Sections?
So, as I mentioned above you’ll most likely change the sections as you grow in your faith. I say this because as we go through seasons, we start to focus on different things.
Like me as an example, I felt it important at the beginning to focus on gratitude and had a section for it. But now I show my gratitude on a daily basis in my prayers to God. I have also started showing my gratitude more to family etc. I no longer need that reminder to do this.
I currently have the following sections prayer/gratitude, bible study/devotional, and a personal note section.
In my personal note section, I write down things that I struggle with ie: controlling my mouth, things I want to research ie: verses to help me control my mouth, things I want to talk to God about ie: me controlling my mouth.
These things will eventually be a part of the other sections. But before they become a part of a prayer or help from scriptures they are just little personal notes about me.

final thoughts
Again, I can’t stress how different each of our faith walks are, and how our focus points change as we grow. Also, before you start creating your War Binder pray about it, ask God to guide you in creating the sections He feels you need to focus on. Follow His lead and you’ll see your sections just falling into place.
The sections I talk about above are the ones, He leads me to create, and as I grew in my faith, He told me to combine/get rid of. I believe that my war binder plays a huge role in my faith walk. It’s documenting my walk with God, it’s a testimony for all He’s done, given and shown me. It’s a legacy I can leave behind for my children/grandchildren.
