Happy Friday! Here’s my Day 2 Dream Your Heart Out journaling page. I am really loving this devotional journal, it’s got some great messages and reminders for me.
Today’s message reminds us that even though we plan, and try to create our paths, God’s plans for us are better. He always has the perfect plan and they always work out for our good. It also reminded me that when I take the time to pray, He will provide. (Mark 11:24)

Day 2 Dream Your Heart Out
This page has a few different elements to it, and I used the following supplies to create it.
Ranger Distress Ink – antique linen and raspberry colors
Pilot G-2 Pens – pink and teal colors
Tombow calligraphy pen – black
Trust this Truth Card – I created this using Word
2 – Die-cut borders – checkered, floral designs
Floral mason jar & butterfly die-cut
2- Stamps – trust and praise

Day 2 Dream Your Heart Out
Creating the page
Briefly, I’ll explain how I created the page. First, I added some light color to the page with the antique linen distress ink. I also added some of the raspberry ink to the edges of the page.
Next, I added one of the borders to the center of the page and layered the trust this truth card on top. I then cut the other border die-cut it into pieces to fit under the edges of my card. Then I added the floral mason jar and butterfly die-cuts.
Lastly, I used the trust and praise stamps and stamped them on the devotional page.

Final thoughts
So far I am really enjoying the message this devotional is giving me. This is the first Katy Fults devotional I’ve done, but I’d like to see what else she has available.
I want to keep my pages simple and continue from the color theme already in place. At least that is my current plan, but who knows where I’ll be lead. Just like the message in today’s devotion, we may have plans but, God’s plan is always a better one. Maybe He’ll lead me down another creative path.

On another note, do you have a war binder – Faith planner? I can’t stress enough how much mine has helped in my walk with God.
