Day 7 Dream Your Heart Out - FaithCraftsandCoffee

Day 7 Dream Your Heart Out

Posted on May 11, 2020May 11, 2020 by Debbie

Today’s message for Day 7 Dream Your Heart Out, talks about how God stays close to the brokenhearted. And a reminder for us to seek Him, and ask Him to help us feel His presence when we are hurting.

These were great reminders for me, I tend to close-up and hide when I am hurting. His truths and promises are what I need to look for next time.

Day 7 Dream Your Heart Out

The scripture in today’s message that really spoke to me was – He heals the brokenhearted, binding up their wounds. – Psalm 147:3 This verse really got me to thinking. There have been so many times when I’ve shut-down and shut-out everyone. I should have been looking to Him for comfort and help.

Here are some of my notes for this verse. When difficulties happen or when problems arise in our life we need to turn our hearts to the comforting words of God’s truth.

It’s at this time we need to grab a promise and hold on to that promise knowing that we have a wonderful, faithful, loving God, who has promised to be with us in all the twists and turns of life.

Remember to always trust in His love and believe the truth in His Word – which tells us that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up our wounds – and He is able because He went to the crosses on our account.

Let us hold on to the truth that ou Savior suffered for us so that He is able to heal our hearts and bind our wounds.

Day 7 Dream Your Heart Out
my creative page

For this page, I typed and printed out most of what I stated above. I then printed out some bandaid clipart and a heart shape. On the heart, I drew a zig-zag in the center to represent a broken heart.

I wrote on 3 of the bandaids, the following statements:
He is close to the brokenhearted
He heals our hearts
God’s Healing Powers

I attached my printout, the heart, and 2 of the bandaids to the page. The remaining 2 bandaids I crisscrossed over the zig-zag on the heart. This gave it an appearance that the heart was being mended. God’s healing powers were written on the top bandaid.

Next, I underlined important parts of the scripture and highlighted the scripture I focused on.
