Hello Loves! Today I am to talk more about my Faith Planners one of my favorite items in my Etsy shop Fatih Crafts and Coffee. Faith planners are also known as war binder, prayer journal, and Faith journal. Anyways, I wanted to share a little more about what comes the Faith Planners from my shop. In the below image you can the inside pockets of a Faith Planner I just sent out.
Faith Planner – Your Choices
I have two different styles for the Faith Planners I create. An A5 1″ six ring binder type, and the standard-sized traveler’s notebook. (shown in image above) The most popular and probably my favorite is the traveler’s notebook style. I like this style best for storage purposes, each time I fill a book I can store that book in a shoebox. So, your first choice would be what style you’d like.
The second choice would be the color of your faith planner. I list all the colors I have available in my listings. The next thing I offer the buyer is their main color for their embellishments. Those are also listed on the listing. In the below image the buyer requested the main color to be pink but, sent a note asking for yellow too.
Customization of your order
Normally a day after a buyer places an order I’ll contact them with the following questions.
1 – What is their favorite flower and animal?
2 – 3 of their favorite Bible verses?
3 – Is there anything else they’d like to share to help customize their planner?
I use all that they share with me to help create most of the embellishments for their faith planner. Each is created specifically for the person buying it. This is my favorite part of creating each faith planner. I love using the bits they give me to create the pieces for their planner.
What’s inside my Faith Planners?
Each faith planner will come with either 4 inserts (traveler’s notebook shown in the above image) or 4 dividers (A5 planner). Each insert and divider will be decorated and embellished using the buyer’s color choice & a coordinating color or colors.
I also include the following in every Faith planner ordered from my shop.
Bookmark(s) with bible verses
Tags with bible verses
Planner clips
Loaded little envelopes with stickers die cuts, & tabs
Bible Verse Cards
Note Papers
Ribbon clip & Angel clip
Prayer Cards (that look like library cards)
Coordinating stickers and die cuts for decorating planner
Each faith planner comes with an avg. of 60 pieces of embellishments. (some examples are shown below)
Faith Planner – Time Frame & Prices
Time Frame:
Most of the time my turn around time for each Faith Planner is a week. This time frame includes creating it and shipping out. But during all this pandemic chaos some of my supplies have been arriving late. Which has pushed back my time frames by an extra 2 weeks. In these cases, I will contact the buyer and give them some options. Which are to wait for supplies to arrive or pick another cover.
Prices:
I have tried to stay consistent with my prices and try to be fair when coming up with them. There are two different levels of pricing, one is $5 more than the other due to the prices of the cover.
My shipping prices are right on with the post office rates, when they raise their rates, unfortunately so will my rates. Currently, it costs about $9-$10 for priority shipping to most locations. This will get your faith planner to you the quickest. I try not to offer other rates unless asked by the buyer.
Faith Planners Final Thoughts
I take great pride in the faith planners I offer in my Etsy shop. Everything is hand-crafted and created for that individual planner. My favorite part of the process is the creating of each piece. I add little touches that make each piece unique.
Some of the materials I use include card stock, ribbons, lace, tulle, buttons, and stickers. Most of the tags I make are layered, with embellishments. The bible verse cards are laminated for durability.
Every faith planner is wrapped with pretty tulle, then placed in a cello bag. I then add some pretties to the front and ship in a teal plastic shipping bag.
I strive to make my buyers happy and create things that I would buy myself.
