Good Afternoon Loves! It’s time to share June Scripture Day 2 – Matthew 22:37 thoughts and my creative Bible Journaling page.

June Scripture Day 2 – Matthew 22:37
Just a little reminder all the scriptures I share for this month’s writing plan are from a CSB version Bible. Matthew 22:37 CSB reads: He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
Before we dive deep into today’s verse I want to share what Matthew 22:36 CSB says: “Teacher, which command in the law is the greatest?” Then Mattew 22:37 is Jesus’s response. There’s something about this verse that really grabs me. But I can’t seem to put into words though.
Back to Mattew 22:37 which is a commandment telling us to Love God. Not just to love Him, but love Him with all our hearts, souls, and minds. We are to love Him with all we are.
Loving God and loving others is the fulfillment of God’s Law . . . but we can not love others if our relationship with God isn’t right. We also can’t truly love God unless we truly know Him as our Savior.
Seek to love and honor the Lord with every part of your being – love Him as He loves us.

Matthew 22:37 Bible Journaling Page
Here’s my creative page I worked on this afternoon. I used vellum, stickers, and letters that were cut out of some scrapbook paper to create this page. Everything is on the red vellum and like my other page, if I wanted to write notes under it I can lift the vellum up to write.
The large pink heart was created using 2 pieces white vellum cut into a shape of a heart. I then put double-sided tape along the edge and then poured in some pink heart glitter.

final thoughts
It’s always nice to share my thoughts on the scriptures I’ve studied here. When I study scripture I look it up in different translations, define words I might not fully understand, and read different commentaries on it.
Not every scripture I study comes with a good sense of knowledge for me, in those cases, I probably won’t share here. But for the scriptures that I understand (for the most part), you’ll find here on my blog.
Please understand that I am not a theologist, nor have I’ve been schooled on the Bible. I am just an average woman, walking with God, and sharing things I learn along the way.
I am still learning and I am definitely a newbie who asks for His guidance with everything. I’ve come a long way in the past 2 1/2 years, but He and I have a lot more work to do. He’s not finished with me yet and I don’t want Him to be either.
If you found my thoughts on June Scripture Day 2 useful, please feel free to share it with your friends & family. As always if you have questions feel free to contact me here. I will happily respond as soon as possible.
